PwC is struggling to convince anyone it is fixing its problems
The firm’s problems may have been triggered by misuse of confidential tax information by a partner. But its response has showed much broader cultural problems are now costing it more than money.

It’s not just the other big consulting firms taking notes of what not to do in a crisis. Seeking and taking advice from lawyers is clearly crucial. But so is leadership able to recognise that adopting only strict legal obligations and embracing legal protections may end up costing more in terms of reputation and, eventually, money.
